Il-Fontana, a suburb of the city of ir-Rabat (Città Victoria), which is itself a suburb of the Citadel, has developed into a village. It lies on the ir-Rabat-Xlendi road between the historic capital of the island and the spectaculur bay of ix-Xlendi.
